The Zipcar application fee is $25 (a one-time fee) and annual Zipcar memberships are $60 for a full year of membership or $6 per month. At the end of the reservation, Zipcars are returned to their designated parking location where they were picked up.

The keys are located inside the vehicle near the ignition. To gain access to the reserved car, members simply place the Zipcard against a small scanner located on the windshield of the car, and the doors automatically unlock.
